ENROL: Foundational 6-Week Live Program 2025
Step into the mentoring and leadership role people already see in you
Dates: October 6 – November 21, 2025
Enrolment Open: September 8 – 30, 2025
Investment: £497
You’ve probably noticed:
people naturally turn to you.
They share their struggles, ask for your perspective, and lean on you in ways that sometimes feel bigger than what you signed up for. Friends, colleagues, and family naturally come to you for perspective, guidance, or support. You hold space with care, but sometimes you’re left wondering:
“Am I really helping? Am I taking on too much? Where are the boundaries?”
Mentoring is not about giving advice or having all the answers. It’s about presence, deep listening, and relational integrity. It’s about walking alongside others while staying grounded in yourself.
This is what the Foundational Mentor Training is designed for.
“I signed up because I was always ‘the one people came to,’ and honestly, I was burning out. What I found was a way of mentoring that feels nourishing instead of depleting. Learning about nervous system awareness and boundaries changed everything. I don’t feel like people are ‘taking from me’ anymore — I actually get to choose how I show up.” — Lina, Artist & Personal Trainer
This program is for you…
This training is designed for people who:
Naturally find themselves being the “go-to” person for others
Want to support without burning out or over-giving
Value integrity, accountability, and human-first leadership
Are curious about embodied leadership and relational intelligence
Feel ready to step into mentorship with confidence and clarity
It’s also for those who see that the way the world — and many of its leaders — is working right now, isn’t working.
You know real change doesn’t just come from the top down… it starts within communities, relationships, and everyday acts of care.
By learning to mentor with integrity, you become part of a movement that models a new kind of leadership: one that is relational, grounded, and human.
“I never thought of myself as a ‘mentor,’ but this training showed me that I already was, but without the tools or boundaries. The language and frameworks gave me confidence to own that role in a way that feels aligned. I’ve stopped second-guessing myself, and I actually enjoy supporting others now.” — Jade, Virtual Assistant
Why mentorship matters now
We’re living in a time of leadership gaps, where traditional structures of authority no longer provide the guidance people need. Communities, workplaces, and families are looking for something different: human beings who can meet them with presence, honesty, and care.
Mentorship is one of the most ancient forms of leadership. It doesn’t require a title or a certificate. It’s relational, it’s intuitive, and it’s needed more than ever.
But even natural mentors need support. Without guidance, many fall into patterns of over-giving, rescuing, or self-doubt. With the right tools, you can transform those same instincts into a grounded, reliable skill set that supports both you and the people you care for.
“What stood out most for me was how embodied this training is. We didn’t just talk about leadership; we practised it in our nervous systems, our emotions, and our relationships. I walked away not only with skills, but with a whole new way of being.” — Liisa, Social Worker
The TMT Foundational Shift
Before:
You feel unsure if you’re supporting others with integrity or just muddling through.
You hold space but sometimes absorb too much of what others are carrying.
You second-guess your role, wondering if you’ve overstepped or missed something.
You feel drained from being the person everyone turns to without clear limits.
After:
You understand the ethics and responsibilities of mentoring and can hold space with confidence.
You listen deeply while staying grounded in your own body and boundaries.
You can navigate emotions, repair ruptures, and honour limits without guilt.
You create safe, trusting relationships where both you and your mentees can thrive.
You feel resourced, confident, and at ease in your role as a mentor.
“This course gave me words for things I’ve always felt intuitively. I finally understand why people came to me, and how to meet that with clarity instead of overwhelm. The structure around consent and agreements alone was worth it — I know how to create safe containers that honour both me and the other person.” — Amy, Holistic Health Coach & Sound Healer
What you’ll learn
This 6-week live training gives you practical tools, experiential learning, and the relational frameworks to become the mentor you already are with clarity, skill, and integrity.
Week 1: The Ethical Dilemmas of Mentoring & Holding Space
We begin by exploring the ethical landscape of mentoring, uncovering the shadows, dilemmas, and responsibilities that come with holding space for others. Together, we’ll reimagine mentoring as a relational practice rooted in presence and integrity, offering care without falling into hierarchy or harm.
Week 2: What Mentoring Is & Why It Matters
This week is about clarifying what mentoring truly is and why it plays such an essential role in our lives and communities. You’ll learn how frameworks of trust, agreements, and boundaries create a safe environment for both mentor and mentee, allowing relationships to deepen without harm.
Week 3: Nervous System Awareness in Mentoring
Mentorship begins in the body, where safety and connection are first established. By developing a trauma-aware lens, you’ll discover how nervous system regulation forms the foundation of relational trust and leadership.
Week 4: Leadership & Emotions — From Rupture to Repair to Joy
Here we explore the emotional dimensions of mentoring, from conflict and rupture to repair and the experience of joy. You’ll expand your emotional fluency and somatic awareness, strengthening your ability to guide others with compassion and resilience.
Week 5: Boundaries & Honouring Limits
Mentoring thrives on clear, compassionate boundaries that protect both parties. This week you’ll develop the listening skills and self-awareness to recognise judgment, bias, and projection, while learning how to hold your limits with clarity and care.
Week 6: Truth, Love & Integration
Our final week is about weaving everything together through practice, reflection, and integration. You’ll leave with a grounded understanding of mentorship as an act of truth and love, ready to embody your role with confidence and clarity.
What’s included
6 live weekly training sessions (1.5 hours each) with Vienda & Nat
Interactive practices where you’ll both mentor and be mentored
Integration prompts & tools to take your learning deeper each week
Replay access to all sessions for 3 months
A supportive community of people on the same path
“Before TMT, I constantly questioned whether I was really helping anyone. I’d listen for hours but leave conversations feeling drained and unsure. This training gave me a whole new framework. Now, I know how to hold space in a way that protects me and empowers the other person. I left with tools I can use every single day.” — Eli, Stylist & Designer
You already find yourself in this role.
People turn to you for support, guidance, or a listening ear. You know how to hold space but sometimes it feels like you’re making it up as you go.
This 6-week live training gives you the frameworks, tools, and grounded practices to step into your role as a mentor with confidence, clarity, and integrity.
You’ll learn how to guide others without over-giving, how to listen in ways that transform, and how to hold your boundaries so that you can serve without losing yourself.
By the end, you’ll feel clear, resourced, and ready to bring your natural gifts into the world, whether that’s in your personal relationships, your creative work, or your professional life.
A hidden gift
One of the hidden benefits of this program is that it doesn’t just teach you how to mentor; it also provides the awareness to determine if and when you want to.
So often, people find themselves in the mentor role by default: the friend everyone leans on, the colleague who holds the team together, the person others turn to in times of need. Without language or frameworks, it can feel like your energy and presence are constantly being pulled on, sometimes without your consent.
This training changes that.
By giving words, structures, and clear practices to what you may already do intuitively, it deepens your ability to choose. You’ll be able to sense when you want to step in as a mentor, and when it’s not yours to hold, creating relationships built not on obligation, but on clarity, mutuality, and consent.
“The biggest shift for me was realising that mentorship isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about presence, trust, and deep listening. I’ve carried this into my workplace, and the ripple effect has been incredible. My team feels more supported, and I feel more grounded as a leader.” — Mel, Team Manager

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this program for?
This program is for people who want to support others without losing themselves. You might already be the one friends, colleagues, or clients turn to. You might feel the call to step into leadership in a way that feels human, grounded, and relational. If you sense that the way the world — and its leaders — is working isn’t working, and you want to be part of creating change from within, this is for you.
Why does mentorship matter now?
We’re living in a time where leadership often lacks integrity, care, and accountability. Mentorship offers a different model — one rooted in presence, trust, and relationship. By learning to mentor with clarity and compassion, you help create safer, stronger communities. You’re not just supporting individuals; you’re practicing a form of leadership the world urgently needs.
Do I need to already be a coach, therapist, or leader to join?
Not at all. This training is designed for anyone who finds themselves holding space for others — formally or informally. Whether you’re a manager, friend, parent, or someone people naturally confide in, the skills you’ll learn will deepen your capacity to support with integrity.
What will I walk away with?
You’ll leave with frameworks, language, and embodied practices that help you listen deeply, set clear boundaries, and create safe containers for others. More importantly, you’ll leave with the confidence to choose how and when you want to step into the role of mentor, instead of feeling like it’s something you have to carry.
How is this different from therapy or coaching training?
Therapy and coaching have their own specific models. This program is not about giving diagnoses or fixing people. It’s about learning how to be in ethical, accountable relationship with others, and how to support growth without overstepping or losing yourself. It’s mentorship as an act of care, not control.
Do you offer scholarships?
At present, we don’t offer scholarships for our training. We understand the importance of accessibility and truly hope you’ll consider joining us when the time feels right.
How do I know if this training is the right fit for me?
The best way to find out is to schedule a Curiosity Call with us: https://talkwithNat.as.me/TMTCuriosityCall. It’s a chance to connect directly, ask your questions, and explore whether this journey feels aligned for you.
What if I’m not sure I want to be a mentor?
That’s part of the gift of this course. It gives you the awareness and tools to decide for yourself if you want to embody the mentor role. Consent is at the core — both yours and the people you support. By understanding the dynamics of mentoring, you’ll know how to step into it when it feels right, and how to step back when it doesn’t.
Is there a certificate at the end?
The Foundational Program does not include formal certification. It’s about building embodied skills, not collecting credentials. If you wish to continue, our 6-month Professional Program offers deeper training, accreditation and pathways toward professional application.
Do I need to take the Foundational course before the Professional accredited program?
If you already have a professional background in counselling, social work, or holding space for others in a structured way, you don’t necessarily need to take the Foundational 6-week training before the accredited course. You’ll already be familiar with many of the core skills we introduce at that level.
That said, the Foundational course explores topics and perspectives that aren’t usually included in standard counselling, safeguarding, or mental health training. We approach mentoring from an anti-pathology stance, with a focus on relational awareness (how to safely and ethically bring yourself into the room) and nervous system-led frameworks. These elements often go untaught in mainstream fields and can add a lot of depth even for experienced practitioners.
So while it isn’t required, many seasoned professionals still find the Foundational course an incredibly valuable container for their own growth, practice, and CPD.
How much does it cost?
The investment for the 6-week program is £497. This includes all live sessions, recordings, integration prompts, and access to the community.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We want this training to be accessible, and flexible payment options are available. Email us for more information: hello@thementortraining.com

The program is co-led by Vienda Maria and Natasha Swift, co-creators of The Mentor Training. Together, they bring backgrounds in embodied leadership, coaching, systems design, and creative practice, along with 25 years of combined lived experience mentoring in different contexts.
